My heart skips a beat when I think about love and my relationships. I’ve been blessed with an incredible husband. He’s the love of my life, my prince charming in real life and my best friend. This does not mean our life and relationship is perfect but we work at it everyday. We evolve together, we have each other’s backs in the most difficult of times but most importantly we always put our pride aside when it’s the right thing to do for our relationship. The love we have for one another has shown me the level of care, commitment and intentionality relationships need in order to grow. I have also learned that in order to sustain healthy relationships, you must love yourself and have a good relationship with yourself first. My intention here is to share how these values have allowed me to hold onto beautiful relationships whether it’s my love life or relationships in general.
