Fertility… I haven’t openly shared much about my fertility journey until now but I hope to use my blog as a platform to be more vulnerable about this topic. I will however draw boundaries where necessary to protect me and my family. This also means that I’ll be respecting my husband’s story and only sharing my experience on this topic from a woman’s perspective. To share in a few words, it’s been a sensitive topic for me but I’ve learned a great deal about the different health options available to us as women. Prior to this, I only knew about western medicine and nothing much beyond what my health insurance provided but after experiencing some fertility challenges, I took it upon myself to explore holistic health a bit more. I’ll be sharing more about my personal and unique journey but please know that these will not be answers to your personal problems. I simply hope to open up another door and empower you to take control of your health especially in a country that makes it so complicated and in many ways a privilege rather than a common necessity. I also aim to be very genuine about the emotional toll it can take on you especially if having kids is something you desire with every ounce inside of you. What I have come to accept is that this journey is incredibly unique to every single person (female or male) but in the end, you will grow your little family even if that means it looks a little different from someone else.
